Spectacular places of Egipt

It is assumed that Egyptian settlements were built up around manors with places and gardens. They were surrounded by channels of the Nile River, which protected the surrounding settlements. Another quite important place was Waset, as the Egyptians called it, or "Thebes," as the Greeks called it; we call it Luxor. Nowadays, a modern place was once among the most spectacular places in Egypt (between 1500 and 1000 BC).
