The first gardens

The Sumerian people in Uruk were the first civilization to come up with gardens and farmlands. The unbelievable creation was located in the lower parts of the city, as it required irrigation. Yards of palaces were used for socialization, communication, and various celebrations. Private gardens were mainly meant for house chores and used as storage for various domestic supplies.
